About Me


I have been developing software for over 25 years now. Usually on PC platform, like Windows desktops, but also in Linux server based environments. Most of my projects are somehow connected to hardware: machine control and drivers, printers, CNC machines and embedded electronics.

Within this field, most products work with a wide combination of desktop and server machines, interfacing to either existing or newly developed pieces of electronics. My knowledge of software development, in combination with electronics hardware design (PCB/PCBA) enable me to offer a comprehensive package of services.

Estimating costs within any development process is a complex undertaking. Software and hardware development as a process keep moving forward at high speeds, and the correct choices at the start of any project are of utmost importance for its eventual commercial succes. Where most developers will start building immediately, i would start with cost and health-checking first. That commercial success is often determined by choices made before a single line of code is written.

A second important but often overlooked issue is ownership of development work. Where bigger development firms will slap you with long contracts, containing catchy phrases like Intellectual Propery, Background IP, Escrow etcetera, working with me is refreshingly simple. What i build is yours to use. It is my guarantee and professional pride that it is well documented, maintanable, complete, and ready for commercial use.

So, when your project becomes the big success you have envisioned, maintenance by your own development team is a guaranteed possibility, of course with any and all support from Fiers-SOC should you need it. And if your prefered way of working is license based, where i develop a product and offer it for a fee per license, that is definitely a possibility too.
